In 1999 I joined a rapidly growing company that specialized in measuring customer service and customer satisfaction. They would send out secret auditors (a.k.a. mystery shoppers) to their clients who would make very specific observations of the clients' customer service.
Prior to 1999 monthly reports were printed on paper, compiled into binders and mailed to clients across the nation. One of the earliest projects I worked on was the development of an online reporting solution named NetReports.
The application gave clients full access to their data through a series of analytical reports and graphs.
Over the next 13 years my team released 4 new versions of the software, with each release bringing new features and enhanced performance.
